Dodge is marking the upcoming 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence with a special edition Durango SUV: the 2026 Durango GT America250 Edition. Developed in partnership with America250, the official organization for the semiquincentennial commemoration, this vehicle aims to embody American spirit through aggressive styling and high-performance options.
A Bold Statement of American Identity
The Durango A250 Edition isn’t just a cosmetic upgrade; it’s a deliberate design statement. The interior features black Laguna leather seats perforated with blue stitching, bold American flag embossing, and red-and-white accents throughout. Even the seatbelts receive a Demonic Red treatment, while forged carbon fiber trim adds a premium touch. This level of detail, typically reserved for higher-spec models, demonstrates Dodge’s commitment to creating a truly standout vehicle.
Exterior Design: Power and Patriotism
The exterior of the Durango A250 Edition boasts optional star-patterned racing stripes with blue tracer accents, ensuring it grabs attention. Additional exterior touches include A250-themed fender decals and badging. The SUV rides on 20-inch Black Noise wheels, amplifying its aggressive stance. Buyers can choose from a range of colors including Red Oxide, White Knuckle, Night Moves (dark blue), Destroyer Gray, and Diamond Black.
The Hemi Legacy Continues
The A250 Edition will be available with both a Pentastar V6 and the iconic 5.7-liter Hemi V8. The Hemi engine is a symbol of American muscle, having powered some of the most legendary performance vehicles in history. In this model, it delivers 360 horsepower, reinforcing the Durango’s reputation for raw power and unapologetic attitude.
