Most people know about four wheel drive vehicles. They are the kings of the desert. But Arsenale is flipping the script with something stranger. Plan B is a two-wheeled vehicle with two drive wheels. A true 2×2 setup.
This machine is built for adventure. It is a hybrid system that combines a thermal engine and an electric motor. The profile looks like a rugged quad. The front face screams dirt bike. The wheels are round and large and have no spokes. Designed for mud, snow, sand and slippery surfaces. Arsenale has not yet released the technical details of this unique tire.
How a hybrid powertrain works
Speed makes all the difference here. At low speeds, the electric motor takes over. Provides flexibility. It extends range where it counts most. When serious power is needed, a thermal engine steps in. With this combination, the bike can travel hundreds of kilometers. Standard electric motorcycles cannot match that range. The same goes for regular gasoline bikes equipped with large water-cooled engines.
The manufacturer claims that the frame is light. This guarantees excellent maneuverability. The design leans towards cyberpunk aesthetics. Exposed wires run along the side panels.

Despite the aesthetic risks, practicality is still high. There are luggage racks in the front and back. Accessories can be attached. Additional fuel tanks are available for longer journeys.
Innovation costs
You pay for this engineering. The Arsenale Plan B costs $15,000. That is expensive for a recreational vehicle. But its hybrid powertrain and autonomy justify its cost for serious explorers. This covers the difference between clean electricity constraints and natural gas dependence.
Who needs a car for off-road trails? This bike could be the answer. It’s a niche that no one is filling. The road ahead is muddy. The wheels are ready.
